Milagres College Kallianpur: Alumni Association of the college, in association with IQAC has distributed Three Tons of Rice to the poor and needy  families of the Kelarkalabettu, Mooduthonse and Paduthonse village panchayaths who have been suffered a lot due to the COVID -19. Many people of other states were also helped by the College. Mr Janardhan Thonse, Zilla Panchayath Member who was present on the occasion, appreciated the good work done by the college. The College in addition to providing the quality education, renders social service which is highly appreciable, he added. Very Rev Fr Dr Lawrence C D`Souza, the Correspondent of the Milagres Education Institutions blessed everyone and asked everyone to follow the directions of the government and should help the needy people of the society in this toughest situation of COVID 19. Mr Salvadore Noronha, President Alumni Association(R) delivered opening remarks and welcomed the gathering. Principal Dr Vincent Alva, IQAC Coordinator and Rover Scout Leader Dr Jayaram Shettigar, Mr Shekar Guujarbettu and Mrs Lavina D`Souza, Vice President Alumni Association, Prof Sophia Dias, Secretary Alumni Association, Mrs Anupama Jogi, NSS Programme Officer, Members of Alumni Association, Mrs Veronika Cornelio, Presidents and Members of Moodu Thonse, PaduThonse, and Kelarkalabettu Village Panchayats were present during the programme.
